Jean VILAR né en Mars 1912 à SETE et mort en Mai 1971, a été un comédien de théatre et de cinéma, metteur en scène, Directeur de Théatre. Il a été le créateur du Festival d'AVIGNON en 1947 et Directeur du Théatre National Populaire de 1951 à 1963.Il était très proche du Poête René CHAR sans qui la création du Festival n'aurait peut-être pas eu lieu.Invité: Jacques TEPHANY, son gendre, homme de théatre, qui a été très proche de Robert HOSSEIN.Hébergé par Audiomeans.
