https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yoxibeth/6082d375 Hola, amigos de Hive Es un gusto saludarlos nuevamente para compartir mi pasión por nuestra música en esta semana 37 del Festival de Música Tradicional VDC, donde en esta ocasión tengo el inmenso honor de interpretar "Olas del río Atamaica", una obra verdaderamente emblemática del recordado compositor Manuel Luna. Para esta presentación tan especial, he seleccionado la tonalidad de Re mayor, una escala que resalta la brillantez, la alegría y el profundo sentimiento de esta pieza llanera, permitiendo que cada nota resuene. Cuento además con el grandísimo privilegio de estar acompañada en el fondo por la magistral ejecución del Maestro Ramón Páez en el cuatro, cuya destreza impecable en las cuerdas llaneras brinda el marco armónico. Esta pieza es un viaje sonoro capturando la esencia del paisaje venezolano a través de una melodía que ha trascendido generaciones. Interpretar este tema representa para mí un compromiso con nuestra identidad nacional a los autores que han sabido retratar con tanta fidelidad y amor. Agradezco profundamente el apoyo constante de toda la comunidad de Hive y de los organizadores de este festival, quienes semana tras semana impulsan el talento folklórico y nos brindan una ventana para mostrar lo mejor de nuestro arte. It’s a pleasure to greet you once again and share my passion for our music during Week 37 of the VDC Traditional Music Festival, where on this occasion I have the immense honor of performing “Olas del río Atamaica,” a truly iconic piece by the late composer Manuel Luna. For this very special performance, I have chosen the key of D major, a scale that highlights the brilliance, joy, and deep emotion of this piece from the plains, allowing each note to resonate. I also have the immense privilege of being accompanied in the background by the masterful playing of Maestro Ramón Páez on the cuatro, whose impeccable skill on the plains-style strings provides the harmonic framework. This piece is a sonic journey capturing the essence of the Venezuelan landscape through a melody that has transcended generations. Performing this piece represents for me a commitment to our national identity to the composers who have portrayed it with such fidelity and love. I am deeply grateful for the constant support of the entire Hive community and the organizers of this festival, who week after week promote folkloric talent and provide us with a platform to showcase the best of our art.
