WHAT’S IN YOUR NERDHAT?As promised, the final episode of festival month is our interview with three of the people responsible for bringing the inspiring independent film “Battersea” to life. T.J. Sandella & Jad Adkins wrote, directed, and produced the film together, it being the culmination of over ten years of writing and dreaming for the long-time friends. Battersea is their first feature film. Jesse Howland, who hails from our very own North Carolina, plays the male lead in the film - Les. He has been active in LA since he graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2016, appearing in both tv and film. A big shoutout to the RiverRun International Film Festival for bringing amazing films like this one to Winston Salem!
