Fetterman Backs Down on Piker | San Antonio News

Senator John Fetterman has paused his public feud with streamer Hasan Piker, after criticizing him for comparing the U.S. to a terrorist group — a move tied to Piker’s association with Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Fetterman, frustrated by Piker’s massive influence over a progressive Democratic base, felt he couldn’t win against the streamer’s popularity. While El-Sayed has tried to distance himself from Piker’s more extreme views, the connection remains politically charged. Recent polls show 75% of Democrats want the party to reject radical rhetoric — highlighting a growing disconnect between Piker’s messaging and mainstream voter sentiment. Despite Fetterman’s retreat, Piker remains a major force in political discourse ahead of the Senate race. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
