International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year’s theme is Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world. This theme is identified in order to celebrate the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.  The SABC will also commemorate this day through various activities. A virtual event will be held to commemorate International Women’s day at the SABC.Guest: One of the main speakers at the event is Fezile Mdletshe the founder of Fezile Fashion Skills Academy. She holds Masters of Applied Arts: Fashion from Durban University of Technology and currently pursuing a PhD. She has led various projects including the Lagos Fashion Week as the Project Manager and being a Fashion Mentor and Judge for Made in Africa (BET Networks).
