My guest today on Felony Friday is Michael Braxton. He goes by the name Alim. He has been on Death row for 28 years and spent 7 of those years in solitary confinement. He was sentenced to death for killing another inmate at the Caledonia Correctional Center in Halifax, where he was already serving a life sentence for killing a man during a robbery in Raleigh. He credits his faith for changing him as a man. In addition to being a co-author of the Crimson Letters: Voices From Death Row, he is also is a rapper and musician who produces music on Death Row.
