Drogheda/East Meath Fianna Fáil Councillor, Stephen McKee, is calling once again on Meath County Council to carry out urgent road safety measures at Mounthanover Junction on the Beamore Road.Cllr McKee stated; ‘I have been raising road safety issues at Mounthanover Junction over a period of time now and the accidents at this black spot only continue; with two more crashes in recent days.’‘On foot of previous representations I made, the Council put in additional ‘Stop’ signage further back from the junction and repainted road markings and ‘Stop’ lining but more clearly needs to be done.’Cllr McKee joined us on The Agenda this morning to talk to us some more about this.
