Fianna Fáil still divided over Presidential election
A former Fianna Fáil TD and Senator says events at last night's parliamentary party meeting show that the Party is still hugely divided over the Presidential Election campaign.It's being reported that Several Fianna Fáil TDs were believed to have been named on a list plotting a no confidence motion in party leader Micheál Martin by Party HQThe so called rebel TD's were described as rebels and old guard.The meeting heard calls for the swift publication of a review of the party's presidential election campaign.However it's understood that the Taoiseach still has not made his contribution to this key review.Former TD and Senator John Ellis says this controversy will continue to impact the party until Michael Martin makes a contribution to the review of what was a shambles of campaign.
