Field Notes: Hasty Strap

In this episode of The Rescue Lab, we sit down with the team behind the Hasty Rescue Strap (HRS) to explore how a simple idea became a versatile tool trusted by rescuers across multiple disciplines. We discuss the problem the HRS was designed to solve, the evolution of its design, real-world rescue applications, and why versatility matters when every ounce of gear has to justify its place. Whether you're a firefighter, technical rescuer, SAR volunteer, or rope technician, this conversation offers practical insight into innovation driven by the realities of the field—not the drawing board. Join us for another conversation focused on the people, equipment, and ideas shaping the future of technical rescue.
