Field Notes S1E1: What is "basic care" for horses?

Welcome to Field Notes - the companion podcast to Sounds of the Sanctuary from Redwings. Here we delve deeper into how the UK’s largest horse sanctuary cares for its rescued residents on a daily basis and learn more about what goes on behind the scenes at Redwings, how the staff cope with all the challenges of caring for over 1,500 horses and ponies, and share the advice we've learnt along the way! In this episode we sit down with Senior Campaigns Officer Helen Whitelegg to talk about the basic care every horse needs to enjoy a happy and healthy life - something that was sadly not given to Matilda who was rescued in a very poor condition. For horse care tips and rescue stories that will warm your heart, subscribe to the new Redwings podcasts and never miss a moment!
