Fiery Preseason
from Rinkside with Aarif Deen Hosted by Mile High Sports
There's actual hockey to review! The Avalanche are two games into the preseason and the guys are here to break it all down. Aarif and JJ highlight the best (and worst) individual performances from Erik Johnson, Darcy Kuemper, Nazem Kadri and Oskar Olausson among others before getting into the play that led to an enraged Gabriel Landeskog against Minnesota. The guys also share their thoughts on Sampo Ranta's chances at cracking the opening night roster and the possibility of either Jack Johnson or Artem Anisimov signing a contract. The conversation shifts to Robin Lehner, Daniel Carcillo and a discussion around team-controlled injuries. The show closes out with Aarif sharing the behind-the-scenes story that led to the Jordan Samuels-Thomas postgame photo at Ball Arena. All that and more on this edition of Hockey Mountain High: Your go-to Avalanche Podcast. Produced by Patrick Stedman. Follow the guys on Twitter @JJoftheyear and @runwriteAarif
