Fifita Takes Blame After Wildcats’ Collapse | Arizona Wildcats Football News

Arizona’s quarterback Noah Fifita takes full responsibility after the Wildcats’ shocking 28-17 loss to No. 15 BYU, where the offense went cold in the second half—scoring zero points. Despite throwing for 230 yards and a touchdown, Fifita admits he needs to be more consistent in crunch time and regrets key decisions. Defensive leader Tre Smith agrees, praising the team’s early effort but stressing the need for sustained execution and accountability. Both players see this loss as a crucial learning moment as they gear up for their next home game against Northern Illinois, determined to rise from the setback with grit and focus.
