Fifita vs Bachmeier Big 12 Showdown | Arizona Wildcats Football News

Noah Fifita’s fifth season with Arizona kicks off with a bang, throwing for 279 yards and two touchdowns against Northern Arizona, setting the stage for a massive showdown this Saturday against BYU. With 41 career starts and on track to hit 10K passing yards, Fifita is one of the nation’s most experienced QBs — and this game could catapult him into national spotlight. Facing BYU’s promising sophomore Bear Bachmeier, who struggled against Arizona last year, Fifita has a golden chance to make a statement on the road. A win over ranked BYU could vault him into Heisman conversation, with no major tests until late October. Kickoff: 12:30 PM PT, Sept. 12, on FOX.
