Fifty Cents

A small gift can seem too little to matter, just as Ezekiel’s vision begins with a small stream while Jerusalem and its temple lie destroyed. Yet the water deepens into an uncrossable river, bringing fresh water, fruitful trees and healing. God had not forgotten His people. His faithful relationship with them promises new life fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Because Jesus gives living water, God’s people can trust His promises, flourish in His presence and share that life through giving and service.
