Fight Business Podcast #14: Jon Nutt discusses Fight Circus, reveals next show date in November

from Fight Business Podcast · host Patrick Auger

Full Metal Dojo CEO Jon Nutt is the special guest for this week's episode of The Fight Business Podcast.  Nutt, the founder and frontman of FMD, recently teamed up with CamSoda to bring Fight Circus to life for the very first time in Bangkok, Thailand.    The event featured a range of remarkable (and highly unusual) matchups including 2 vs. 1 fights, openweight MMA bouts, openweight boxing and "street fight" rules.  Nutt says the event was "over-the-top successful," and that CamSoda "loved it, we loved it, and we immediately started talking about a next date."   Fight Circus Vol. 2 is shaping up to take place in mid-November and will feature a "battle of the bands" matchup that Nutt further explains during the video.  During the interview, Nutt explains how he managed the show from an events coordination perspective, including the art of overcoming unexpected obstacles along the way.   Nutt also explains how the CamSoda deal came together and why it makes sense for both the Full Metal Dojo brand and for CamSoda.
