Fight Size 4 - Dave Coldwell

You could be forgiven for forgetting just how much Dave Coldwell has done in boxing. Or indeed for how long he has been around the sport. From his childhood years training under Brendan Ingle and where he made a very special group of friends and built eveeything he's needed for life - notjust in boxing. Afer his brief pro career he set out training boxers like Kell Brook (British Title) Ryan Rhodes (European) and then into the murky waters of management and promotion. Then on tothe biggest stage with David Haye at the peak of his career where negotioating with Golden Boy promotions, Klitchko and the rest taught him all he needed for a future that saw him live so manyspecial nights as coach and mentor to Tony Bellew.He chats about all of that in this episode and more and also tells us how maybe he didnt take timeto live in those moments - to enjoy them, saying "I think as people we're chasing the future too much".
