Fighting Bill Collection

Ken Landau talks with Attorney Jessica Breuer, who explains how to fight bill collectors, and how to defend yourself if they take you to court. She is a staff attorney of the New York County Lawyers Association Consumer Protection Program, and trains lawyers and law students to assist consumers when they are sued in the Civil Court in Manhattan. Her tips will help consumers everywhere, and lawyers and law students from the New York area can receive free training to volunteer in this program.
