fighting for a memory

I wrote on your calendar I drew hearts on the magnet on your fridge Left notes to you to find Did you find those wooden bits yet The shelf in your garage Above the sink in front your car Bet you didn't think that far Didn't think to look up Did you forget me I'm fighting for a memory Did you forget me Cause I miss your cat more than I miss you That's not true You can't forget me because her name is also my name too I'm begging you I was always begging you I'm fighting for a memory Do you even remember me I moved your stuff around Looked better on the table than the ground Flipped your painting to stand tall Do you think of me at all Picked the bugs out of your pool I hope you save them too And I hope you let her on the bed She loved that Do you think you loved me I'm fighting for a memory Do you think you loved me (2022)
