He is sharing tips for SLPs who are working with these students.Jordan Christian LeVan is an apraxia, disability, and mental health advocate. He writes about his life experiences with childhood apraxia of speech on his blog, Fighting for my Voice: My Life with Verbal Apraxia. He wants to show the world that being different is okay and that we should celebrate who we all are. Jordan couldn’t speak until he was 5 years old, and to have a conversation with strangers was difficult even at age 12.
