FIGHTING IRISH ANGER SPILLS INTO THREATS: Insulted Notre Dame fans lash out at criticism.

As a sportscaster and talk show host for many years, I've had my share of angry interactions with fans. It comes with the territory, and used to just slide off my back. However, what I received from some Notre Dame fans after dealing my opinions on the recent College Football Playoff issue surprised even me. From sexual assault taunts to skimming the edge of anti-semitism, this unfortunately is what social media has made of what used to be good debates and conversation.
