If you have questions: email or Christopher's Classes on Facebook  If you would like to support Christopher's Classes, you can do that here or simply by sharing this episode with your friends.  Today we talked about   Vertigo  We also talked about: The Score by Bernard Herrmann for Vertigo and Psycho  The Jimmy Stewart / Hitchcock movies: Rope Rear Window and even The Man Who Knew Too Much  (Hitchcock had licensed the entire book from GK Chesterton. It's too bad he only used the title instead of using the story... twice.)  A couple other Hitchcock Movies Notorious Psycho The Iliad Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello Hitchcock A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood OK, I know the U2 song is not about the movie, but the video seems to really like the Sal Bass stuff. Next class is 1977 Star Wars (1977 NOT an updated version )  This is the trailer and theme to Kings Row This is the Flash Gordon serial. (It would have played in episodes before the main feature each week. This is all the episodes edited together to make one movie) This is a musician explaining the influence of "The Planets" on "Star Wars" Here is "The Planets" Here is the original trailer introducing the world to  Star Wars If you would like to see the full Syllabus, it's here And this is the film list I started with before I pared it down for the class. You can listen to the Born On Book Lovers Day podcast here
