from STRANGE UFO

Video Version: https://youtu.be/sPzjIn0lh3YWelcome to Luxe City, a city that never sleeps, but whose inhabitants are increasingly immersed in other people's dreams and nightmares. This is a world on the edge of reality and virtuality, where technology promises salvation, but entails new forms of dependence and loss of oneself. Follow Aaron Izula, the "immersive" specialist in reading the last memories of the dead. His work is a dangerous immersion into other people's thoughts through neural interfaces, capable of blurring the line between his own life and the lives of those whose secrets he reveals. Together with their partner Rats, they investigate the mysterious death of a young woman found in a street "Codemachine" — a portal to virtual worlds. Was it a tragic accident during the dive? Or something more sinister? Parallel to this grim investigation, another reality is unfolding: the set of a low-budget TV series about rough debt collectors. Here, the actors, including the man playing "Fat Man Izya," live their routine, weaving irony and fatigue with fragments of their fictional lives. But how are these two worlds connected? This piece immerses you in: The suffocating atmosphere of neo-noir: Neon lights, jazz, cheap coffee, the dirt of futuristic streets and the eternal night of the big city. Complex technologies of the future: "Code machines" for virtual escape, neural memory reading of the dead, cybernetic implants and their costs. How do they change human nature? Existential questions: What does it mean to be yourself when your mind is constantly filled with other people's memories? Where does reality end and virtuality begin? How do we pay for trying to escape from reality? Social satire: Intrusive advertising, talk shows are absurd, cheap virtual servers, transhumanist trends are the backdrop against which the drama unfolds. Duality of perception: The line between the work of a submerger, the life of an actor and personal nightmares is blurred, making you wonder where the real reality is. This is a story about dependence — on technology, on other people's lives, on the very act of escape. About the price paid by those who dig into the "dirty laundry" of other people's memories and urban secrets. About how easy it is to lose yourself in the endless stream of information and simulacra of Luxe City. Get ready for a slow, atmospheric dive into a dystopia where neon glitter hides deep darkness, and questions about the nature of reality and memory become a matter of survival.
