from Films Apart
In the pilot episode, we dive into Tiptoes (2003)—a film so outrageous it never should have seen the light of day. Starring Gary Oldman (on his knees, no less) as Matthew McConaughey’s twin brother with dwarfism, Tiptoes tells the bizarre story of sibling rivalry and a pregnant fiancée (Kate Beckinsale) grappling with the possibility of their child inheriting dwarfism. It’s ridiculous, nonsensical, and downright tone-deaf. Join Kyle and Lewis as they break this film apart, from its baffling premise to its wildly misguided execution. Is it so bad it’s good, or just plain bad? Let’s find out!
