Filtered for Truth

from St. Luke Anglican Church · host Kimberley Pfeiler

Authority, Vulnerability, and Authenticity - these are the foundations upon which the apostle Paul established his Christ message to the church in Corinth. Our lives are bombarded by voices with platforms and messages that take advantage of our natural inclination toward Confirmation Bias. We gravitate to what makes us feel good, right, and safe. Paul recognized this in pattern in Corinth, and chose the way of Christ, humility, and simply told the story of the cross through the lens of his own life. Paul encourages the Corinthians to be wary of messages and messengers that elevate position over people, and questioning the integrity and humility of our speakers is our responsibility, not cynicism.Connect with us! https://stlukemd.org/im-newGive here: https://stlukemd.org/give
