🛠 Filtration Ventilation 🍃 + other best steps. Coronavirus and beyond. As I am thinking about this I am also thinking about ventilation medically and seeing someone on a ventilator. If they have a virus - you want something that will clean their air as it is given. Ultimately that’s not what the point of this is overall but it is similar - building ventilation has to be effective and the government tackling this in itself is excellent, with many possibilities. A ventilation system that is useable no matter the weather is great yet becomes extremely welcome certainly in a time of pandemic which has seemed ongoing. Proper ventilation that keeps out rain and wind yet certainly is in use when dry is *vital* at all times. Windows must be opened when dry where possible. This is imperative where no other ventilation is available in shared areas/ masks. If raining and no other ventilation - masking becomes essential as the air becomes denser and heavier which is the playground for any virus. Long term the most effective ventilation is one which is perhaps filtered so that it can be utilised in any type of air and prevents particles re-entering the air. Like an air purifier. Such a device would have a great benefit to all people, keeping comfort levels and restoring air quality is the optimum result we need to have. This will also improve building health and prevent inordinate amounts of time and money being used otherwise treating the impacts of dampness in or out with a pandemic.
