FINAL 53: New Orleans Saints Roster Projection Before Preseason Finale

The Saints’ final preseason roster projection is taking shape, with Tyler Shough locked in but Spencer Rattler and Zach Wilson still competing for quarterback room value. Top running backs are clear with Travis Etienne Jr. and Alvin Kamara,  but the Saints could go with an early injured reserve maneuver involving Devin Neal, while tight end seems set with Juwan Johnson, Noah Fant, and Oscar Delp, but a fourth could enter the conversation. Jordyn Tyson’s hamstring injury could lead New Orleans to open the season with Kevin Austin Jr. as a rotational wide receiver alongside Chris Olave and Devaughn Vele. The offensive line looks set with nine total linemen, though Easton Kilty could push for the active roster.
