Final Preseason Battle for Roster Spots | Spokane News

Seahawks’ final preseason game against the Chiefs is a roster battle, not a showcase — starters sit out to stay healthy as Macdonald prioritizes depth over flash. Rookie Jadarian Price and backups skip the action, but newcomers like Trevon Diggs get crucial reps, proving his work ethic despite limited practice time. QB Sam Milroe takes the field for the full game, aiming to build rhythm after a shaky preseason. With Bud Clark out for the season, the defense scrambles to find safety answers. This is a make-or-break night for players fighting for the 53-man roster — wideouts, linemen, and defenders all have a chance to earn their spot before the regular season kicks off in two weeks.
