Paul gives a powerful summary of practical instruction for the assemblies on the island of Crete. Titus had been left in Crete to set in order the things that were lacking in the church. This was a huge, spiritual project of developing health in the believers there. The letter that Paul wrote to Titus, as his son in the faith, would be of great help in bringing health to the church.
