Finally, a (baseball) league of their own!

After decades, women’s baseball returns with a professional league. The inaugural season of The Women’s Professional Baseball League debuted at the sold-out Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois. While women have been playing the sport for generations, they have not always had access to a professional team.  In the Loop talks to an in-house fan and reporter about the history of women’s baseball and what it might take to make this league last. GUESTS: Violet Miller, Chicago Sun-Times reporter
