With its strategic location in the center of the southeast economic block of Korea and the crossroads of a global logistics route, Busan envisions growing into an international financial city in Northeast Asia. In this webinar, we heard from Busan Finance Center (BFC) to understand current developments to develop and implement measures to bolster the local financial industry, while working together with various local economic players to pursue sustainable growth of the financial sector including FinTech. Speaker: SB Shin is Director, International Finance Division, Busan Finance Center. His previous career was spent at Kookmin Bank and then at Standard Chartered Bank in Korea, as Head Of Group Market Risk, Head Of Asset And Liability Management, and then as Managing Director. He holds an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management, Arizona and was Professor at Baewha Women's University from 2017-2018.
