Financial Friday: Strikes Increases Prices!

FF: Strikes increases prices! Dock workers have a union of about 85,000 people that recently went on strike. They have 2 demands: No automation ever! And a $5/hr raise every year for 6 years. Ironically, the raise may not be enough to keep up with inflation. That may actually be achieved. What I don’t think is possible is to sign a contract agreeing to NEVER automate. Once something has been invented, it can’t be un-invented. Nothing can stop an idea that’s time has come. Automation & AI is here to stay and grow. Fighting it is like the trying to go upstream without a paddle on that proverbial creek. No matter what the outcome, the longer the strike goes, the more 99.99% of Americans (and many other countries that do business with America) will pay for the goods they buy. www.RealPowerFamily.com [email protected] 833-Be-Do-Have (833-233-6428)
