Financial Market Preview - Thursday 9-Jul

S&P futures are pointing to a higher open today. Japan's main indices posted solid gains led by chip stocks, while the Kospi was flat as large-cap Korean names traded mixed. Taiwan and Hang Seng retreated, the latter giving back some of Wednesday's gains. Australia extended declines.
