Materialism is a downward spiral, resulting in temporary satisfaction and permanent addiction. 1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 2 Corinthians 9:11 (NLT) Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. Waste less on yourself, and sow more in to others. Survey what you have and put it to good use. RELEASE it or REDEEM it. Conduct a self-evaluation to determine where you find contentment. Philippians 4:12 (NIV) I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content.
