Finch Frustrated: Nuggets Win Game One
from NBA News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
In Game one of their playoff series, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-105. Jamal Murray scored 30 points, but only made 7 of his 22 field goals. What stood out was his perfect 16-for-16 performance from the free-throw line. Timberwolves coach Chris Finch expressed frustration, calling the free throws a head-scratcher and noting that the team played solid defense. Finch pointed out that Murray initiated contact and got the calls, even comparing it to Nikola Jokićs moves. As the series progresses, coaches are closely watching every whistle, and the Timberwolves will need to adjust quickly to even the score in Game two.
