And he's setting out to prove it .. his new television series Kia Eats the World follows him throughout Aotearoa in search of the people, places and ingredients that are shaping modern Maori food. There's seafood, ferments, foraging and a celebration of the connection between kai and community. Kia Eats The World premieres tomorrow night at 7:30PM on Whakaata Maori TV Kia Kanuta - who's also the Head Chef at Auckland restaurant Ada - chats to Jesse.
