Today, the Amelia Earhart Legacy Association in Derry works tirelessly to honor her achievements and to educate others about her pioneering spirit. The association receives no formal funding. Through events, exhibitions, and community outreach, the association not only celebrates Earhart’s courage but also highlights the significance of her visit to Derry as a symbol of transatlantic progress and human ambition.
