He is an avid traveler and adventurer, and spends his time exploring the world and enjoys sharing his stories with others.Jim Silver was our guest on Episode 19 of the Overseas Life Redesign Podcast, where he talked about living a good life and while running a dream dive business. He has since sold his business and is now doing fun things that bring him purpose and meaning. He recently took a trip to Cozumel to dive and do underwater photography for fun. He also has some book projects that he is working on.After five years of working in a dive business in Mexico, he decided to sell the business. He was a PADI Dive Master/Instructor. The business requires a boat and requires a lot of time and effort. It's a business that requires employees, insurance, taxes and a sole proprietor. This year the turtle farm in Isla Mujeres, Mexico was taken back by the government, probably due to mismanagement.  The new director of environment and ecology needed volunteers to help with the conservation efforts previously managed by the Tortuga Farm. Jim has been diving with the turtles during mating season off the south tip of the island for eight years and has been taking pictures of them turtles are an endangered species in Mexico they lay a lot of eggs on the beaches.  He realized they needed a lot of help, particularly someone to  to manage the effort.
