Finding An Unbiased Jury For A High-Profile Murder

On Tuesday, jury selection began in the second trial of Karen Read, the 45-year-old woman accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, in an alleged hit-and-run in January of 2022. Read's case was first tried in April of 2024, but ultimately ended in a mistrial due to a "starkly divided" hung jury.
