Finding Big Fish Shallow w/ Kellen Latendresse | JMO Fishing 295

Kellen Latendresse joins the JMO Podcast for the first time. Kellen is a multi species guide from Minot, North Dakota. Throughout the year Kellen and his clients target a spectrum of patterns and species on a variety of water bodies. In this interview we get to know how Kellen cut his teeth in fishing and the conversation quickly turns focus on to one of Kellen's specialties, casting for weed walleyes. Fishing in shallow weeds isn't for the faint of heart considering the modern walleye angler wants to leverage electronics to find productive water, shallow weed fish must be found the old fashioned way. Taking note of natures signals and reading water conditions are still the best way to find the big bites in shallow summertime weeds. Kellen's got many great fishing tips and philosophies on how to be successful in this situation.
