Finding Complete Joy | The Hope of Joy

Four of the stated purposes of John's first letter – four of the reasons why John wrote this epistle - are to lead its readers to: 1) participate in deep fellowship with one another; 2) experience complete joy; 3) keep from sinning; and 4) have assurance that we are truly children of God - to know that we are born again.
