FINDING COURAGE IN CHRIST!

Scripture: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) Message: Courage is not the absence of fear but the decision to trust God despite it. When Joshua was called to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, he faced overwhelming challenges. But God didn’t tell him to rely on his own strength—He commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous because His presence would be with him. In the same way, we may face uncertainties, obstacles, and battles that seem too big for us. But God’s promise remains: He is with us wherever we go. Our courage comes from knowing that we are not alone. Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and through Him, we have the strength to face anything that comes our way. No matter what you are facing today, stand firm in this truth—God’s presence is your source of courage. When fear whispers doubts, let His Word remind you that He is with you, He is for you, and He will never leave you. Today, ask yourself: Am I relying on my own strength, or am I trusting in God’s presence? What fears do I need to surrender to Him today? How can I walk boldly in faith, knowing that He is with me? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for Your constant presence in my life. When I feel afraid or overwhelmed, help me to find courage in You. Strengthen my heart to trust Your promises and walk boldly in faith. I know You are with me, and in You, I have nothing to fear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
