Finding Financial Freedom - Week 3

We’ve all heard the phrase “it’s better to give than receive” (in fact, Jesus said it!), and most of us have personally experienced it! On Christmas morning, it’s fun to open gifts, but it’s really magical to watch your kids open that present they’ve been hoping for. It might feel great to buy yourself a new gadget or outfit, but it really feels good to give your friend a special gift you know they’ll love. And yet, there are many roadblocks to living a generous life: we might feel like we’re barely scraping by and can’t afford to give anything away, or we’re worried that our needs might not be met if we give away too much. Jesus knew that giving not only changes the receiver, but it also hugely changes the giver, and that’s why he told us it’s so important to be a generous giver. Want to be changed for the better?
