We pay homage to the impact the Ringling Bros Circus and family had on developing Sarasota by bringing you an entire episode all about the circus! We spent half a day at The Ringling (the State Art Museum of Florida), and were treated to tours from several of their curators. Our friend, Izzy Jay from the Reporting Live Podcast joined us with her family for the tour. Together, we learned why John and Mable Ringling made Sarasota their home. And, we visited the Circus Museum, their mansion called the Ca' d'Zan, and one of the largest art collections in Florida.
