Finding Freedom, Week Four

The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die." Genesis 2:15-17 (NIV) "If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments. John 14:15 (AMP) When you live in the tree of life: You operate from victory. You operate from a place of worthiness. You receive what Jesus did. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NIV) How to stay in the tree of life: Recognize you are anointed by the Holy Spirit. Stay madly in love with Jesus. Surround yourself with people who understand grace and mercy. Salvation starts with surrender. Choose life. This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (NIV)
