Finding Freedom, Week Seven

What does it mean to surrender? How do we live a life of surrender? Make the choice to surrender AND stay surrendered. "Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Psalm 116:5 (NIV) - COMPASSIONATE Psalm 68:19-20 (NLT) - SAVIOUR Deuteronomy 4:24 (NIV) - JEALOUS Deuteronomy 4:31 (NIV) - MERCIFUL Psalm 48:14 (NIV) - GUIDE Psalm 54:4 (NLT) - HELPER Psalm 94:22 - ROCK/REFUGE 1 Corinthians 14:33 (NIV) - PEACE 1 John 4:16 (NIV) - LOVE When we remember who He is, how could we ever think we could lead our lives better than Him? "For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:9 (NLT) Walk with surrendered people. "So we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well." 1 Thessalonians 2:8 (NIV)  Freedom is not when we are in control calling the shoots… TRUE FREEDOM COMES FROM COMPLETE SURRENDER.
