Finding Hope in the Midst of Distress

Psalm 69 is a prayer of distress and deliverance, that expresses David's suffering caused by his enemies. He feels like he is drowning in despair and appeals to God for help and justice against his persecutors. The psalm also contains messianic prophecies about Jesus's suffering, his zeal for God, and his crucifixion.
