This has certainly been the case for Sandra Gray who began her career as a nurse but decided she wanted to do animal research in Africa.Getting qualified and getting out to Africa (and a genuine field placement) were big challenges, but she's then had to keep the research going for a little known species in an area where the odds were stacked against her.Things have finally started going right (although she is a long way from the 'finish line') but it's taken a huge amount of dedication and commitment to get this far.In this podcast, she talks about what keeps her going and where her journey so far has taken her.It's time for another podcast...
