In Psalm 46:10 starts off with instructions from God. He tells us to “be still, and know that I am God…”, but how many of us struggle to do that? Those two words seem so easy, yet they require so much from us. Be still. With the pressures of today, the demands on our schedules and the race for success, for many of us, being still, is not an option. But when God gives us a command, He is not ASKING us to do something, He is TELLING us to do it, and with good reason. We must stop obeying the parts of scriptures that we like and ignoring other parts. Yes, we acknowledge that He is God but for we must be still in order to do so.
