Finding Rest in the Finished Work

God has not called the New Creation to a life of passive boredom, but to a life of restful impact.We still labor, but our labor is fueled by the Holy Spirit's power, not our own anxiety. We are saved by grace (a position of rest), and we walk in good works which God prepared beforehand for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). The pressure is off. The bricks of Egypt have been replaced by the grace of Zion.As people reflect on this journey from the heavy burdens of the Old Testament to the finished work of the Cross, what specific area of people's lives—whether their career, family, or spiritual walk—feels the most resistant to entering this divine rest right now for many of the listeners and times of self reflection.
