Developing Self-Worth in the Secret Place

Having self worth is one of the hardest things for people to learn. We know the truths of God, which say that we have value and that we are loved, but to feel value inside of yourself can be difficult. How do we even begin that process?We look at the life of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as they had enough self-worth to stand up to the king. Where did that come from? It came from the secret place. When no one was looking, they learned to dedicate themselves to the Lord. Because they found victory when no one was looking, they had victory when everyone was looking. We need victory in our secret places. Specifically, we looked at the need for victory in our identity. When we are alone with God, we learn how God sees us rather than how the world may see us. It is important we understand how God sees us in contrast to the world, as we will lose our way if not. Our prayer is that you find victory in the secret place this week.
